Incentive Connect International offers the incentive industry a research platform where they can seek impartial advice and source information on suppliers for their incentive travel itineraries, exclusive corporate events, or reward and loyalty programs. To create brand awareness in the market we distribute copies of our incentive travel planner guides to introduce our destination contacts to attendees at many of the world's leading incentive travel expos, business exchanges, and corporate travel shows.
Our Team
Maureen Brennan has 20 years experience in the tourism industry, including senior management roles as the General Manager Business Tourism for a tourism organisation, and the Director of Sales and Marketing for leading international hotel brands. As a strong advocate of the incentive industry, Maureen is a contributor to tourism and business events forums, an adviser to government and tourism organisations, has been twice elected to a SITE Chapter board, held a SITE global committee position, and has been a judge for the Society of Incentive Travel Executives international awards. She is based in Australia and oversees market development in the Asia Pacific region.
Izania Downie is based in London and has 18 years experience in the marketing and events industry, and an international career spanning the corporate, agency and hotel sectors. She has held the position of Global Sales Director of the C&I team at Starwood Hotels & Resorts and in 2005 was elected to the board of the ITMA heading up marketing and membership. After the successful launch of the UK events industry association Eventia in January 2006 Izania was appointed their full-time Executive Director, and in 2008 she took on the CEO role. She is well established as a key connector within the corporate, events and incentive industries and her role ensures we have direct access to media and industry press in the UK and European markets, as well as the professional support required to grow our portfolio into new distribution networks.
Sandy Myhre is an experienced print, radio journalist and producer, and the author of four books. Over the course of her long association with the media she has written for leading national and metropolitan newspapers and magazines, and she is a regular contributor to airline magazines. Sandy is the author of two acclaimed autobiographies, has won the prestigious New Zealand motoring journalist of the year, and in 2009 was the chief judge on the inaugural Women’s World Car of the Year awards held in London. She has been an online columnist with Xtra, an opinion editorial writer with the New Zealand Herald, and is the editor of one Lady Traveller. Her diverse communications skills are coupled with an extensive network of media, business, and travel contacts and this has allowed Incentive Connect International to develop strategic alliances in many media channels. Sandy currently resides between New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
Sandra Jefferies oversees product development. She has a career background in hotels and hospitality, and her experience incorporates sales, advertising and marketing, and she has held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing. She lived in New York for 10 years before relocating back to Australia in 2008. Whilst based in the USA she was associated with a Fortune 500 Corporation assisting the CEO in his philanthropic ventures. This diverse background gives Sandra a tremendous insight into the expectations of the corporate companies and luxury brands involved in the incentive market. Her role with Incentive Connect International draws on these strengths to ensure that we promote the very best suppliers in the event sector and professional destination management companies.
